Flex - Now offering 3 levels of cover for unoccupied properties
At Plum we’re committed to supporting UK brokers; to helping you win and retain profitable business. So when you told us that you wanted further cover options for unoccupied homes, we listened and we’re pleased to announce that with immediate effect we've added two further levels of cover.
This means that when you request a Flex quotation where the home is unoccupied, subject to our normal underwriting procedures, we will provide you with premiums for the following three levels of cover:
Level 1
Fire
Lightning
Explosion
Earthquake
Subsidence (unless there are ongoing structural works)
Property Owners Liability of £2m
Level 2
All covers in Level 1, plus:
Storm
Flood
Weight of snow
Collision by vehicle or animal
Damage by falling trees/telegraph poles/lamp posts
Level 3
All covers in Level 1 and 2, plus:
Escape of water
Theft and attempted theft
Riot, violent disorder and acting maliciously
A home for all your non standard needs
Remember, Flex is there to provide you with the individually underwritten, responsive service you need where risks have any of the following features (including, but not limited to):
- Non standard construction
- Adverse claims history
- Previous convictions
- Previous bankruptcy
- Flood area / history
- Subsidence history or area / underpinned properties
- Declined, refused or had insurance cancelled
- Non standard occupations
- Irregular occupancy
And remember - we look to say yes where other insurers say no.
